Inshore Fishing Seminar hosted by Captain Jack McGowan, Coastal River Charters and Chuck King (The Land Captain), Manager of Cranman's Sporting World.
The Place: Seminar will held on the back porch deck of the Bahia Blue Marina.
The Time: Seminar will start at 700 pm, concludes by 900 pm.
Date: Thursday, March 11, 2004
Topic: Introduction into Light Tackle Inshore Fishing
No charge for seminar!!!
Chuck and Jack will begin the seminar by discussing some their favorite tackle. Chuck will tell you about some of the hot items for the season! Chuck and Jack will discuss rigging tackle as well guide you in your next purchase. After being properly rigged you're ready to fish! Well almost.
Topics that will be touch on:
Conservation, Fishing local Waters, Improving Your Fishing Techniques and more!
As you might guess there's a lot to cover in a short time! We'll try to condense the material in a logical coherent manner with the belief you will gain a substantive understanding and appreciation of the Sport. If you're new to the sport many people begin with a charter. My suggestion is more you know prior to a charter, the more enjoyment you're likely to experience.
I'm Capt. Jack McGowan I've been fishing local waters since I was a young boy (I'm 48 years old). I am full time inshore guide. I grew up in Savannah and with the exception two years in prep school at St. Andrew's in Tennessee and three years in the Army, Savannah has been my home. It is my pleasure to share some of what I've learned. Chuck King is the manager of Cransman's. Chuck has fished all over North America for almost everything that swims for 50 years.
